​Strathmore Community Church is led by Lizzie and Ben Pringle, and supported by the Leadership team of Peninsula Parish.

Lizzie and Ben have called Strathmore home for the past six years. Lizzie grew up in Wellington and Ben in the Hutt Valley, and together with their three boys they love being part of the vibrant and connected community that makes Strathmore such a special place to live.

Married for 10 years, Lizzie and Ben share a commitment to family, faith, and community. Lizzie works part-time for Praxis, a youth work training organisation, and brings more than 15 years of experience in youth work and community development. Ben works as Diocesan Manager for the Wellington Anglican Diocese and has previously held a range of roles in the public sector.

As a couple, they enjoy playing social netball, spending time with friends and whānau, and making the most of local community life.

Together, Lizzie and Ben are passionate about leading a church where people of all ages can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover a sense of belonging. They believe that Jesus offers freedom, hope, and wholeness, and are excited to lead and serve alongside the parish community, helping to grow a church that is welcoming, connected, and centred on Jesus.
